If you're also bothered by the world's waste…

Have you ever noticed boxes of food left over after a corporate event? Or watched as
expiration dates quietly pass in the kitchen, and no one knows what to do? Frustrating, right? You know it could be different – but no one starts it. Now is the opportunity for you to be the one who brings change. One small step at your company – and for someone, it means a warm meal tomorrow.

Our goal is food rescue and providing help

What do we ask from activists?

If you feel that there is also surplus food at your place, but no one has taken action yet – now is the time for you to be the one to initiate the change!

We help with the first steps, but we ask you to:

  • take on representing the topic within the company,
  • talk to your colleagues, introduce the opportunity,
  • reach out to decision-makers – whether HR, CSR or management,
  • help us connect with the right people,
  • be the link between your company and the Food Bank.

Surplus food can occur in many situations at a company – and often goes to waste unnoticed. Here are some typical examples:

  • Leftover sandwiches, plated food after events, trainings, company breakfasts or lunches.
  • Unserved portions at the end of the day in canteens and cafeterias.
  • Near-expiry or „unwanted” shared foods, snacks in the office kitchen.
  • Leftover products from promotional packages or samples.

You are not alone – more and more of us are joining the movement, refusing to watch waste happen. Join us too!
