The creation of the Food Bank in Hungary was also a great idea. Its founders have shown – and continue to show – their social sensitivity and willingness to help. National Red Cross societies around the world cooperate with local Food Bank organizations. By joining forces with the Hungarian Food Bank Association, the Hungarian Red Cross was able to reduce the difficulties of thousands of families. In recognition of the work of the Hungarian Food Bank Association, it received the Certificate of Appreciation from the Hungarian Red Cross in 2012.
